Defect details	When the vehicle was first sold, it was shipped with a steering wheel without TAKATA airbags, but after shipping, it was confirmed that the customer may have installed a sports or M Sports steering wheel with TAKATA airbags among BMW-approved replacement parts. The steering wheel is equipped with an airbag inflator using ammonium nitrate, and when the vehicle is exposed to a high temperature and humidity area for a long period of time, the compressed gas propellant inside the inflator may be deformed. In this case, the driver's front airbag may deploy abnormally in the event of an accident, causing the inflator powder to rupture and the possibility of injury to the driver has been confirmed.
