  Defect details	Due to a program setting error in the hybrid control processor (HCP), under certain circumstances, the signal sent by the high-voltage battery control module (BPCM) to the hybrid control processor (HCP) may be misinterpreted by the hybrid control processor (HCP) as a thermal runaway event of the high-voltage battery. In this case, the hybrid control processor (HCP) may command a reset of the high-voltage battery control module (BPCM) to block the electric drive. Recall as it has been confirmed that loss of driving force due to such electrical drive blocking may cause a vehicle collision.
