  Defect details	If the adhesive used when installing a dynamic damper on a drive shaft is inappropriate, the paint coating may deteriorate and peel off at an accelerated rate. As a result, corrosion may occur if the vehicle is driven in an area with strong salt damage for a long period of time or if a deicing agent (salt water) penetrates the inside of the dynamic damper where the paint coating has peeled off. In a situation where corrosion has become severe, strong force (full accelerator, sudden acceleration, etc.) is transmitted to the drive shaft, which may cause the drive shaft to be damaged at the dynamic damper area. In this case, the recall was confirmed as there was a possibility that the vehicle would not be able to drive or move while parked.
