We ask you to comply.> [Important Notice] We have confirmed that two extremely unlikely manufacturing defects co-exist in the same battery cell of a high-voltage battery, and these manufacturing defect conditions occur after the battery has been significantly discharged. Repeated/habitual charging to a fully or nearly fully charged state may worsen battery manufacturing defects, exposing the battery to a potential fire hazard. 1. Until a new recall action plan is released, please change the vehicle's maximum charging capacity to 90%, and change the 'Target Charge Level Option' through the charging option settings in the vehicle. If the customer is unable to change the settings on their own, they can receive settings change by visiting a Chevrolet Bolt EV service center that can handle recalls. 2. Please recharge the battery as often as possible after driving the vehicle, and avoid allowing the remaining driving range of the battery to fall below 70 miles (approximately 113 km). 3. To prevent any emergency, park the vehicle outdoors immediately after charging. If charging for a long time (overnight charging, etc.), do not block the vehicle while it is charging.
